SECURITY SYSTEMS

The security systems developed by Tech Wave Communications focuses on protection from, harm which applies to any vulnerable and valuable asset, such as a person, dwelling, community, nation, or organization.

As noted by the Institute for Security and Open Methodologies (ISECOM) in the OSSTMM 3, security provides “a form of protection where a separation is created between the assets and the threat.” These separations are generically called “controls,” and sometimes include changes to the asset or the threat.

Our scope of systems includes but not limited to;

Access Control: Individuals are required to resent a form of credential such as a biometric sample, a pre-programmed ID card, a pass or pin code before entry is allowed.

Intrusion Detection (IDS): This system may include devices or software application that monitors activities for malicious behaviour or policy violations and produces reports to a management or security personnel and stations. IDS come in a variety of “flavours” and approach with the goal of detecting suspicious activities in different ways. Some systems may attempt to stop an intrusion attempt but this is neither required nor expected of a monitoring system. Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS) are primarily focused on identifying possible incidents, logging information about them, and reporting attempts by notifying security administrators.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV): Video surveillance is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on sets of monitors and recorders. These systems are provided for a wide range of facilities such as the monitoring of hotels, schools, healthcare, banks, casinos, airports, military installations, and convenience stores.

We provide CCTV in industrial plants to observe parts of a process from a central control room. Systems operate continuously or only as required to monitor a particular event. More advanced form of CCTV, utilizing digital video recorders (DVRs) or network video recorder (NVRs), provides recording for possibly many years, with a variety of quality and performance options and extra features (such as motion detection and email alerts). NVR is an IP based recording system.
