FUNCTION AREA AUDIO/VISUAL DISTRIBUTION
A video distribution system shall be provided to all meeting rooms and ballrooms to allow for use of "drop down" and fixed video projectors. The system with individual RGB inputs from baseboard niches into video switches which routes the signals to the projectors

Ballrooms to include both structural and electrical hang points for stage lighting and projectors.

A/V panels in the baseboard of the ballroom, prefunction rooms, boardrooms and meeting rooms shall be provided by the electrical contractor and will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Dedicated power receptacles at 15A and 30A;
  • 100A, 400V, 3-phase, 4-wire show power disconnect located in the service corridor behind each half of the ballroom;
  • Quad microphone jacks for sound reproduction;
  • Copper Cat 6 and multimode fiber optic voice and data outlets to allow for connection to intranet LAN or internet access for larger users;
  • Single mode fiber optic interconnection from the ballroom to the loading dock to allow for live TV broadcasting or web casting;
  • Line inputs to DSP for connection of portable analogue A/V equipment into resort infrastructure;
  • DMX 512 dimmer jack connected to hotel dimming system for event illumination level scene settings;
  • TV outlet for in-house TV broadcasting.


"AV" niches typically contain power outlets, voice/data outlets, dimming programming jack and AV system outlets to allow for special communication provisions within the function rooms.
Video switching and projection shall be included in each ballroom and meeting room as follows:
  • HDMI, VGA, Microphone, audio inputs in "niches" around room.
  • Video switching with outputs to projectors and LED flat screen displays
  • Fixed mounted and drop down projector.
  • Loudspeakers
  • Software based touch screen controllers
  • Wired and wireless microphones
  • Hearing assistant systems
  • Audio visual systems control rooms
  • digital signag and way finding
  • Outdoor digital displays and inground garden speakers
