Design
TWC will meet with the client and respective user groups and assess needs
TWC will prepare a preliminary design of the technical specialty systems, Audio-Visual, Local Area Network, Security (Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV)
TWC will prepare a complete design package of drawings and specifications. The package will include the following but not limited to;
Site plans with device locations
- Device mounting details
- Required power and communications wiring
- Heat and ventilation requirements
- General contractual specifications
- General programming and integration specifications
- Riser diagrams of all computers, devices, power and communication feeds
- Division of responsibility matrix for work assignments for General Contractor, Electrical and the AV contractor
- Specifications requirements for testing, commissioning and training
- Review room acoustics and make recommendations for treatment
- Review room lighting and make recommendations as necessary
TWC will coordinate with prime consultant to ensure all technical specialty systems are guaranteed to be complete and functional at the completion of both the general building construction and the systems installation.
TWC will perform a cost estimate and analysis of the proposed systems
TWC will perform value engineering and value analysis exercises as required to meet budget expectations.
