Contract
Working from the technical specialty systems design documents TWC will prepare AV Plans and Specifications for tender. The package will include but no limited to:
- technical specialty systems functional block diagrams
- equipment rooms, racks and panel layouts as required
- written technical specifications for systems and equipment that encourage competitive bidding by allowing substitutions and design changes where they meet the technical requirements specified
- comprehensive standards for testing and adjusting procedures
- comprehensive standards of workmanship and installation
- The package will be presented for review with the client project team.
TWC will specifically coordinate with the Architect and Electrical Consultant to ensure all power and communications conduits and cables are included in the tender specifications.
During the tender phase TWC will perform the following activities and deliverables:
- Pre-qualify Contractors for supply and installation of the technical specialty systems
- Respond to questions through the tendering process
- Review the tender submissions documents related to technical specialty systems
- Report a recommendation to the Client for selecting a Contractor.
TWC will finalize the AV Tender Package (document and drawings) as required, based on coordination discussions with the project team.
The final package will be presented to the client for final sign-off.
Working with the Technical Project Team, TWC will undertake discussions with the Purchasing Department regarding acquisition strategy and methodology.
